As we make our way into November, don't be surprised to see facial hair filling up your social media. Once again, it's Movember again. I am sure most of you heard of this term but do you know the important meaning behind it?

As the tagline goes, "Grow a Mo, save a Bro", it is annual event where men grows out their moustache during the month of November to raise awareness of men's health issues, such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, men's suicide and mental illnesses.

It all started in 2004 where the Movember Foundation run charitable events to raise awareness of men's health issues, such as prostate cancer, men's suicide and mental illnesses in Australia and New Zealand. Before we know it, Movember as one of the world's top 100 non-government organisations by 2012.

So how can you play your part for Movember this year?

You can participate by:

- Joining in the 60km challenge. You don’t have to be an ultra athlete or own the latest kicks, just be committed and hit 60km over the month. Call out all your friends, take it at your own paces in this movement today!

- Hosting a Mo-ment to help inspire donations. Host a get-together of your style, let your family and friends know about it and collect the donations from the attendees.
