KWAN YEE GOR was found in England.The founder take a stroll around Birmingham on Christmas holiday, he noticed an interesting exhibition in the IKON gallery, a Australian artist Tim Johnson was exhibiting his latest works entitled – The Luminescent Ground. He was inspired by Tim Johnson’s artwork, so many ideas, shapes, colours, themes all presented as one. They were populated by Buddhist deities, Bodhisattvas,Tibetan monks and Christian angels. After a few years, he returned to his hometown China, while visiting old friends.They went to the local temple,saw a statue of a local god - Kwan Yee Gor, this reminded him in the UK visiting the gallery in Birmingham, lead him thinking,why does a god always have to be serious. After much thought, he decided to restyle this God, Kwan Yee Gor, to make him more fun and light hearted, to give a new style, more in line with current modern times. He decided to build up a men’s grooming brand - Kwan Yee Gor. A God with style, Hiphop style! Go Rock!
